If you win your case, your solicitor’s fees are paid by the other party’s insurance company and you will receive 100% of the compensation.
If you lose, the other party’s fees are paid under the terms of an insurance policy taken out by your solicitor. This insurance cover is called After the Event Insurance. Please note that you will never be asked to pay for this insurance policy – it is your solicitor who will be responsible for this.
